Chainmaille Earrings - Enameled Copper, Niobium Rings, Niobium Earwires
I made these earrings using the Chainmaille weave, European 4-1, out of 18ga Rings. These earrings are created to resemble a Peacock Feather. A dear friend of mine was getting married, and asked me to do the jewelry for her wedding party. Her wedding colors were Peacock Feather colors. I made a larger version of these for her bridal party. They can be seen under another listing.
These Earrings are courtesy of Instructions from Dreamseeker Chainmail Creations. The instructions were for one color of rings, but I wove rings in the peacock colors to make it look like the inside of a Peacock Feather. I also took the design and used rings a little larger than suggested to make the earrings a little larger.
The earrings are made with 18ga Niobium Rings in Smokey Topaz, Teal, and 19ga Enameled Copper Rings of Ice Blue. I used 18ga rings in Turquoise to gather in the top row of rings. I made Handcrafted Earwires, with 4mm Amethyst AB Swarovski Crystals, created with 20ga Turquoise Niobium Round Wire. These earrings are fun, Flashy, and have lots of movement!
The final photo is taken in Natural Light, to show true color, and actual size.
The Earrings are a Hoku Gallery Original Design, made by me, in Londonderry, NH.
Earrings are 2 1/4" long.
Included with each pair of earrings, I add Rubber Ear Nuts to help keep these beautiful Earrings in your ears!!!!
The Earring design is courtesy of Instructions from Dreamseeker Chainmail Creations.
