Chainmaille Bracelet, Vipera Berus Weave - Hoku Gallery
This bracelet is made using the chainmaille weave known as Vipera Berus, named after the Viper Snake, because of the pattern on the back of the snake. Some people think it looks like a basket weave as well. One of the things I love about this weave is that it looks different on both sides. One side has the Gunmetal as the prominent color, while the other side has the Purple as dominant. This weave is a solid weave, with every ring doubled. It is thick and substantial. The bracelet is made with Aluminum shiny rings, and Anodized Aluminum Purple, and Anodized Aluminum Gunmetal rings. To complete the bracelet, I used a silver tone toggle clasp.
This Bracelet measures 6 3/4" long on my EZ Bracelet Sizer. This measurement is the inside diameter. To determine the bracelet size you need, measure the wrist and add ½" to 3/4". That should be the bracelet size you want to buy.
The Bracelet is Hand Crafted by me, at Hoku Gallery, in Londonderry, NH.
