Red Glass Bead, Wire Wrapped with Sterling Silver Wire Necklace
This Necklace is centered around a large (35mm x 25mm) Glass Bead! I love this bead! I have had it for quite a while, not knowing what to do with it. I really wanted to showcase the twist fo the beads, as well as the swirls of yellows and blues within it. I decided to wire wrap it, using 24ga Sterling Silver wire, wrapped around 20ga Sterling Silver Wire, swirled to make larger loops. I then made a Chainmaille chain out of Shinny Anodized Aluminum Rings. I used a Silver Plated Lobster Clasp as a closure. To finish the necklace, I added a 2" extension chain, made out of Shinny Anodized Aluminum rings, with a drop of Swarovksi Crystals.
This is a Hoku Gallery Original design, made by me, in Londonderry, NH. It is 20 inches long, with a 2 inch extension chain, extending it to 22 inches.
The final photo is taken in Natural Light, to show true color, and actual size.
